MARBiobanc has been operating in our institution for many years but has recently undergone an organizational restructuring.

The final organization chart is this:

Biobank technical staff: Èrica Torres Fernández, Héctor Vaquero Gallardo and Miquel Clarós Jorge

As you know, MARBiobanc is the biobank of the Parc de Salut Mar. Its purpose is to safeguard and transfer different types of samples:

- Solid tissue area (paraffin and certain frozen tissues in OCT)

- Liquid sample area (serum, plasma and urine)

- New types of samples: organoid collections and circuit for transferring fresh samples.

MARBiobanc manages sample requests for biomedical research from any interested researcher. Remember to use the sample request circuit for projects/Clinical Trials by contacting the email address: marbiobanc(ELIMINAR)@imim.es
