MARBiobanc has participated in the I Workshop of the Platform ISCIII Biobanks and Biomodels that took place in Santander on October 27 and 28, 2022.

The ISCIII Biobanks and Biomodels Platform is an initiative of the Carlos III Health Institute. Under the coordination of Dr. Nuria Monserrat of the Institute of Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC), the structure of the Platform has been organized into four scientific-technological HUBS, in order to provide scientific-technical services at the highest level in different fields, which They include: Biobanks, Organoids, Animal models and 3D printing. In addition, the ISCIII Biobanks and Biomodels Platform has recently become part of the European Biobank Infrastructure (BBMRI-ERIC) as an observer member, acting as a national node in BBMRI-ERIC, one of the most relevant research platforms in the European Union. . The organization of the Conference of the ISCIII Platform for Biobanks and Biomodels has had the support of the Valdecilla Biobank (Marqués de Valdecilla Research Institute Foundation - IDIVAL) and IBEC.
