The presentation of the session was in charge of Dr. J. Pascual, Hospital del Mar Medical Director.

MARBiobanc Scientific manager, Dr. M. Torà explained the movements of samples for investigation, and the Head of Pathology Department, Dr. B. Lloveras, defined the role of Pathological Anatomy Service working with Biobank.

At the end of the session there was time for discussion to answer questions or doubts.

Conclusions and closure were guided by Dr. J. Bellmunt, Director of IMIM-Hospital del Mar Medical Research Institute.

The session was aimed to physicians, researchers, nursing and auxiliary staff, technicians, committee members, clinical trial monitors, case managers and all those who were implied in the process of obtaining, using or managing samples for investigation.
