Global Biobank Week 2017 was very successful. In the conference were involved biobanks, researchers and representatives of the industry and of the ethical and legal sphere. The topic issues discussed during the meeting were related to the latest activities concerning biobanks in transferring of samples and data management, quality, new collaborations and research and precision medicine, among others.

MARBiobanc put at your disposal the oral communication entitled 'Surfing the Electronic Medical Records: a biobank challenge' that took place at 'Establishing Hospital-Based Biobanks as a Foundation for Clinical trials and Precision Medicine' session, and the poster 'The unmeasurable value of an informed society'.
